For my first Getting To Know You feature I decided to start with Bianca from Sophisticated Entertainment. I've known her since the day I was born! Our moms grew up mere blocks from each other in Glen Park, San Francisco. She's like a sibling to me! Bianca and her husband run a full service event planning company. When I say full service - I'm not kidding. They really do it all. On top of that they have a blossoming music career. No question here - she's got ample fervor for her myriad ventures! Let's meet Bianca! >>
"I am a California girl who was inspired by my late Grandmother. She was a professional photographer. I grew to know how to capture moments without even trying. I lost my passion in 2004 and went to traditional college and dropped out of art school. Low and behold, 10 years later I found myself on the East Coast with a camera in my hand and my talent still intact. So all I can say is I got my passion back :)
1. What led you to discovering your passion?
I love LOVE, and to me art and music are passions of love. We all strive to feel that tingling inside of us and photography and music are what does it for me. I am not just passionate about one thing in them either. I love every aspect of it all and become more passionate about art every day. Passion never dies. And it if does, you need to find it again and again and again
2. What is the craziest hurdle you've had to jump and what advice would you have given to past you?
Getting noticed and becoming a brand! The advice I would give would be to network more and put start up money in advertising only.
3. When you aren't focusing on your main hustle, what are you up to?
Honestly, All my time goes to my company right now. But music is what I escape with. I write lately when I am stressed.
